Is LVT or engineered wood better?
LVT is warmer underfoot than tile, water-resistant and very hard-wearing, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms and busy family rooms. Engineered wood is real timber, which suits lounges and bedrooms. We'll help you choose.
Can you fit herringbone flooring?
Yes. Herringbone is one of our most popular floors, in LVT or engineered wood. It takes longer to lay than plank, so we'll quote accordingly.
Do I need to empty the room?
Ideally, yes. We can help move larger furniture, but a clear room makes the job quicker and the finish better.
Can you lay flooring over underfloor heating?
Yes, with a suitable floor. Most engineered wood and LVT products work with underfloor heating. We check the manufacturer's guidance before fitting.
Do you supply the flooring?
We can supply it, or fit flooring you've bought, as long as it's suitable for the room.
